Travel Series: Visiting Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a place like no other. This country looks like a picture out of a storybook with all of
its beautiful greenery, beaches and more. Traveling into Costa Rica is a tad bit different than
traveling into other countries. Artisan Luxury Brands CEO Charlie McCoy flew into the capital
of Costa Rica, San José and then took a puddle jumper into Santa Teresa where he spent most of
his time. In Santa Teresa, Charlie relied primarily on four wheelers to get around the beach town and was surprised to find that most of the beaches were virtually untouched. Santa Teresa is surrounded by the jungle like most of Costa Rica and visitors will be pleasantly surprised to find a plethora of cool restaurants and bars to choose from.

Visiting Santa Teresa is a great way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of your day-to-day life. This beach town literally forces you to relax and make great use of its beaches at your
disposal. The locals in Santa Teresa are warm and welcoming and chances are you’ll run into
groups of them at the beach while they take in the sunset or sunrise.

Of course, there’s more to Santa Teresa than just sunbathing on the beach. Santa Teresa offers a
variety of excursions for its visitors and you just have to choose the one that most interests you.
There are tide pools in Santa Teresa which are a huge tourist attraction. Swimming in the tide
pools is much safer than swimming in the ocean as the tide pools are shallow.

Visiting Santa Teresa’s nature reserve, Cabo Blanco is also a must when visiting the beach town.
There’s a huge chance you’ll encounter wildlife and it’s a great place to go hiking if you’re
looking to get some exercise in and explore Santa Teresa. Santa Teresa is just one of the many
towns in Colombia but all are a worthwhile visit. Book your flight to Costa Rica today and make
sure to abide by all Covid-19 restrictions when you visit. You won’t regret it!
