When visiting Colombia you will be surprised with so much more than you are expecting.
Colombia is surrounded by both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean so naturally of course
islands are always in its vicinity.

Choosing which islands to visit in Colombia can be difficult as they all are beautiful in their own
right and each have something unique to offer. There is San Andrés which is perhaps one of the
more popular islands, in which visitors can engage in snorkeling as well as other water activities.
San Andrés has its own natural parks and gardens that are open to the public and are pleasure to visit. Of course the beaches on the island as well as the others are to die for and the sand at some of them are different shades of pink.

If San Andrés isn’t your cup of tea, you can always head on over to Múcura Island. This island
has seen an increase in tourism over the years so you’ll be happy to find resorts and hotels that
can fit your needs and wants. The white beaches at Múcura Island are a huge tourist attraction
and people who visit always leave satisfied.

Colombia is a worthwhile destination where you are guaranteed to relax and forget about what
troubles you. You’ll find unique, colorful jewelry by Colombian artisans in shops as well as
different sculptures by Colombian artists. If the trip to Colombia is too far for you however, you
can always visit Orchard & Ludlow in the Lower East Side to see the Colombian jewelry and art
